I am a contemporary painter and photographer and have more recently discovered the wonderful world of surface pattern design. Living in New Zealand, my inspiration comes from my beautiful natural surroundings and my gratitude to my creator for the beauty of my world. My work is vibrant and strong. I see art in everything around me and delight in capturing the smallest details of life in my photography and transforming these elements into abstract shapes, shadows and patterns in my paintings and surface design. I aim to bring encouragement and joy to the viewer.
